Starting the c-treeACE Service

Start the c-treeACE service using either the c-treeACE Server SCP or the Windows Services Control Panel applet.

• To start the c-treeACE service using the FairCom SCP utility using ctntinst.exe with the -start option. For example:

C:\FairCom\V9.0.0\win32\bin\ace\sql>ctntinst -start ctreesql.exe

Starting the c-tree Server service...ctreesql.exe started successfully.

• To start the c-treeACE service using the Windows Services Control Panel applet by opening the Control Panel and selecting the Services applet. From the list of the installed services (see Figure "Windows Services Control Panel applet"), select the name for the c-treeACE service (“c-treeACE Database Engine” by default). Click “Start” to start the c-treeACE service.
