Installing Multiple Instances of c-treeACE

To run multiple instances of c-treeACE on one machine, each instance must be individually licensed, have a unique name, and have a unique set of server and data files. Separate c-treeACE services cannot share files.

For each c-treeACE service, you must:

  1. Install each instance of c-treeACE into a unique directory.
  2. Activate each license as described in the c-treeACE Activation Key Card. Every instance of c-treeACE requires a separate license.
  3. Specify a unique Server Name in the configuration file, ctsrvr.cfg, as described in "Configuring the c-treeACE Server".
  4. Configure each instance to have a unique Service Name as described in "Configuring the c-treeACE Server".
