Dynamic Advanced Encryption

FairCom offers developers a choice of using either standard FairCom proprietary file encryption or including other more advanced encryption routines, such as AES (Rijndael), Blowfish, or Twofish. Previously, the ability to use Advanced Encryption was set at compile time for c-treeACE Servers. With this release we offer users the ability to enable Advanced Encryption at run time, through the use of a server configuration keyword. When Advanced Encryption is enabled, the c-treeACE Server prompts for a master password at server startup. Developers can use the c-treeACE Server SDK to replace this prompt with an application-specific method of retrieving the master password.
