Extended Feature Support

The following features are specified in the Extended File Creation Block. Create files with the 8-byte creation functions, (e.g., CreateDataFileXtd8(), CreateIFileXtd8(), etc.), or convert them with the c-tree Plus conversion utility, ctcv67, to allow these features:

• Huge files (up to 16,000,000 terabytes)
• Segmented files (one logical file over multiple physical files)
• Partitioned files
• Transaction-dependent File Creates and Deletes
• Extended File Extent size
• File-specific Disk Full Checks
• File-specific Encryption
• Maximum File Size Limits
