Columbia, MO — November 25, 2002 — FairCom Corporation announced that their popular c-tree Plus embedded database development system and c-tree database Server now support Microsoft's Windows® XP 64-Bit Edition. This new technology targets customers working in scientific and engineering fields and other industries where requirements dictate maximum performance while managing large amounts of complex data.

Randal Hoff, FairCom's Director of Business Development, explains that this new version reinforces the scalability of FairCom's ISAM technology. 'Developers understand that in implementations requiring maximum throughput, the overhead imposed by relational-model databases can be a significant constraint on performance. For example, FairCom has recently been chosen by several major vendors for use within the high speed OLTP (On-Line Transaction Processing) market where speed is essential.
