こんにちはFairCom日本
Hello FairCom Japan!
In honor of FairCom Japan's new offices in Tokyo, feel free to send them warm greetings on their new digs. What? Don't know how to greet them in Japanese? Did you know you don't need a Japanese keyboard to type Japanese characters in Windows or Macs? Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji are all available from your standard English keyboard.
The setup is easy...
- Windows: Setup the IME keyboard from the Control Panel (Windows Vista and Windows 7).
Mac: In System Preferences, click the International icon. Then click the Input Menu tab.
- Windows: Select Hiragana from the IME Input options.
Mac: Click the boxes for Japanese Kana, and the Kotoeri, Romaji, Hiragana and Katakana types.
- WIndows: Open an editor and choose a Japanese font. (MS PGothic)
Mac: While in your editor, choose the International Input Menu (a flag) in the upper right tool bar. Choose an appropriate Japanese font from the application Font menu. (for example, Osaka).
- Type away.
... the language.. well.. maybe not so easy!

Many character sets are represented and encoded using the Unicode Standard. FairCom offers servers with full Unicode (wide character) support, including SQL. Contact your local FairCom office to inquire about availability for your application needs. メールFairCom日本
