Updated c-treeACE V9.1 Tools

c-treeACE V9 introduced the first suite of graphical tools for fast and easy development, interaction and diagnostic monitoring of c-treeACE database technology. These tools have proven wildly popular with developers and users alike. V9.1 extends the power and ease of use of these tools with many fresh updates.

c-treeACE SQL Explorer

The c-treeACE SQL Explorer has undergone continual refinement. Click on a table, select the Table Records tab and instantly browse your data. One of the most useful new abilities is to add, edit and delete rows directly from the window. Right click on a table and new options allow you to Clone and Export the table schema to a file. You can even include the data in the export.

On the main Tables view, instantly see how many rows are in each table.

c-treeACE ISAM Explorer

The c-treeACE ISAM Explorer has had numerous additions and also includes a new ability to view your ISAM data. Click the Table Records tab to instantly view data in existing ISAM tables (Note: a DODA schema resource should be present in the data file.)

While rebuilds of data files should be extremely rare, ISAM Explorer makes it very convenient when necessary. Quickly rebuild and compact tables with the click of your mouse.

Export code ready header file information about your files to use with ISAM applications. From the Options menu, Enable the Export mode. Then select and right click on your files of interest to generate the 'C' header file you can immediately use in your application.

c-treeACE Monitor

A new Files History option has been added to the c-treeACE Monitor tool. Click the Files History tab to view information directly out of the transaction logs regarding complete information about change history for a particular file with date and time stamp information.

New SQL specific statistics have been added to the c-treeACE Monitor. Currently, a limited set of stats are available to view from the Sql Snapshot tab. There are plans to continually add additional statistics and this will be the place to quickly view them as they are added.
